FRAGMENTS OF FORM | Feat. Erin McIntosh & Machelle Knochenhauer
Opens March 8, 2025
through April 5, 2025

ARTicles is delighted to present a special exhibition focused on the expression of form, featuring paintings by artist Erin McIntosh and ceramic works by Machelle Knochenhauer.

Erin's artistic process is improvisational and ties to conceptual motifs including gardens, architecture, and microbiology. Her works are distinctive in their consistent streams of compositional structure and anthropomorphic shapes. She exhibits her work across the U.S. and has been published in New American Paintings, The Georgia Review and Create Magazine. Machelle's ceramic works are characterized by simplicity, texture and form, and influenced by architecture and human anatomy. They embody a minimalism that overrides complexity to lessen references to scale, time and place. She creates her ceramics in Grand Haven, MI, and Gulfport, FL, and has received numerous awards and grants.

An opening reception for the exhibit will be held March 8th.
